Itinerary

DAY 01: BANGALORE - SHRAVANABELAGOLA - CHIKMAGALUR

Meet & Greet on arrival at Bangalore Railway Station / Airport. Drive to Shravanabelagola, known for its colossal monolithic statue of Baghavan Bahubali, on top of a hill. The neighboring area abounds in Jain Basadis and several images of the Jain Tirthankaras. Then drive to Chikmagalur, famous for its hill stations and known as the coffee land of Karnataka. On arrival at Chikmagalur, check in to the Hotel. In the evening, proceed to MG Park for a walk. Return back & overnight stay at the hotel. 

 

DAY 02: CHIKMAGALUR

Morning after breakfast, proceed to visit Seethalayanagiri and Mullayanagiri. Mullayanagiri is the highest peak of Karnataka state located in Bababudangiri range. Vehicles are allowed till Seethalayanagiri, so you will need to do a small trek to Mullayanagiri. Then visit Kavikal Gandi Viewpoint located at the Kavikal Gandi checkpost in the Mullayanagiri–Bababudangiri hill range. Then visit Dabdabe Waterfalls (You can trek OR Jeep hire on a direct payment basis). Then drive to Baba Budan Giri Shrine, a range of mountains in Chikmagalur. You can enjoy hot Chikmagalur coffee at a local cafe of your choice. Return to the Hotel and overnight stay at the Hotel.

 

DAY 03: CHIKMAGALUR - BELUR - HALEBID - BANGALORE

After breakfast check out from the hotel and proceed to Bangalore. En route, visit Belur and Halebid, places famous for their Hoysala architecture temples. On arrival at Bangalore, you will be transferred to the Railway Station for your onward journey.
