Overview

BMC is organizing this trek for visually impaired students of Snehadeep Trust. Participants can register to volunteer for this event. This will be completely a non profit event for which we will be charging the participants for transport, Breakfast & Packed Lunch. 

Note: There will be 20 visually impaired students with a mix of B1, B2 & B3 category. Volunteers will be helping out visually impaired students to complete the trek. One volunteer each for every visually impaired student will be helping them on the trek. So we suggest you to register only if you will be surely participating.

  • Trek Length : 4 Kms in total (Two way)
  • Altitude : 1130 Meter
  • Distance from Bangalore : 80 Kms 
  • Minimum Age : 6 Years 
  • Weather : 28 to 32 Degrees (March to June)

What is included in the tour

  • Non AC Transport

What is NOT included in the tour

  • GST
  • Anything which is not mentioned in the inclusions. 
Things to carry
  • Personal medication (if any)
  • One strong backpack.
  • Water bottles (enough to carry at least 2 liters of water)
  • Energy Food (Chocolate bars, flavored milk, Electrolyte drinks - Glucose etc.)
  • Small torch with new batteries.
  • Camera (Optional)
  • Rain Coat (suggested)

Please carry empty lunch box for packed lunch. We discourage the use of plastic on our treks.

Itinerary

Tentative Schedule:

06:30 AM - Pick up from BMC, Indiranagar
07:00 AM - Pick up from Snehadeep Trust at Hutchins Rd
07:30 AM - Pick up from Yesvantpur Metro Station
08:00 AM - Have breakfast on the way and pack lunch
10:00 AM - Start Trekking,
12:30 PM - Reach peak, explore. Have packed lunch
01:30 PM - Start climbing down
04:00 PM - Reach Base camp & Depart to Bangalore
19:00 PM - Reach Bangalore
